Cuts, colour and blow‑dries

A small, friendly salon with one chair, so it is only ever you and your stylist. Book online in a minute, or come in and say hello.

Earliest appointment

A stylist at work on a client in a bright salon, one chair, plants by the window
Scissors in a stylist's hand, mid-cut, on long dark hair

Colour that suits your hair, not the trend.

We start with a chat and a strand test, so you can see how the colour will look on your hair before we mix a thing.

  • A strand test first, every time
  • You know the price before we begin
  • Tips for looking after it at home, written down for you
Foils being placed through a client's hair at the chair

Your first visit, start to finish.

About an hour. It begins with a conversation, not scissors, and you leave with hair you can do yourself at home.

  1. 0110 min

    A chat first

What you like, what you do not, and how much time you want to spend on it in the morning. We look at your hair dry, before the water changes it.

  2. 0230 min

    The cut, or the colour

A strand test first if it is colour, and a clear idea of how long it will take and what it will cost before we begin.

  3. 0315 min

    The finish

Dried and styled the way you will do it at home, not just for the mirror. If it only works with two people and three brushes, we change the plan.

  4. 045 min

    Before you go

A few tips for looking after it, and a note of what we did, so next time starts where this one left off.

What are we doing?

How long will colour take?

About two hours with a cut. Balayage takes about three; we tell you how long at your consultation.

What if I am late?

Ten minutes is fine. After that the next client is waiting, so it may become a shorter appointment.

Children, weddings, a whole party?

Cuts for children over five, with a parent in the room. Hair for a wedding party, here or at the venue, with a trial beforehand; book Occasion hair and say so in the note.
